Kids Yoga Summer Camps in Denver

Kids Yoga Summer Camps in Denver

It's that time of year, when I start putting together my schedule for Kids Yoga Summer Camps in Denver. Every year, I offer an increasing number of opportunities for kids to learn about yoga in fun ways! This summer, I am so pleased to have multiple offerings throughout the summer around the Denver Metro area as I collaborate with awesome yoga studios and organizations.

This will be my fourth summer working with Camp of the Creative Arts team based in The Highlands. Combining Art and Yoga, kids get to bend, stretch, move and play and then put on their artist aprons to create something magical. This is such a great camp for kids to practice a learn yoga AND to create some truly amazing artwork! I lead the yoga portion of the class and a children's art teacher leads the art portion. We always have so much fun singing and playing yoga games and the kids really treasure making beautiful artwork to take home.

Belly Bliss, the wonderful studio and community that offers classes for everything from pregnancy and birth to toddler and kids is offering summer camps this year. Their studio is conveniently located in the Cherry Creek North shopping district. Themes for the three classes I'm teaching are still being picked out, but overall classes will consist primarily of kids yoga, games, stories and a fun craft project.

Finally, the third space I'll be offering kids yoga classes in Denver is at my original home studio for kids yoga, The River, located in the Golden Triangle neighborhood. This summer camp will be right before school starts up again and the theme for the camp is growing a making healthy foods. This will be a great camp for kids interested in plants and gardening or kids interested in basic cooking and, of course, these things will be combined with yoga and games each day.

So, if you are looking for something fun for your kids to do, where they are sure to get some exercise, play games, create, AND benefit from learning some calming a peaceful practices, definitely check out the various kids yoga camps I'll be teaching this summer. They will be a great place for kids to come with friends or to make new friendships with other mindful kids.
